T*Boat: The Showboat Slow Boat
Thanks For Dropping By!
I'm Larry Burnett, designer of the T*Boat. I appreciate you taking the time to get to know the T* a little better. It is a great project and a great little boat - and getting better all the time.
And, in that interest, I hope you will forgive our brief pause in the availability of the T*Boat. We are presently in transition to a whole new line of T*'s. beginning with - The T*Six-2 (2 person version of the T*Six Version of the boat).
The T*Six's will be the new Kit-Build T* sporting a new interior structure and some very beneficial and great looking changes to the exterior lines. These new T*Kits will be lighter, easier and faster to assemble, and incorporate new features and options and a much higher level of versatility.
Like the T*5, the New T*6 Kits will include a very thorough Drawing & Instruction Package that is designed with 1st Timer's in mind - as always. But, the T*6's have an additional feature added to the D&I Package. Each construction step is accompanied by a Video Exhibition and Explanation of the work. It's like your own, "How To Build A T*Boat" Video Classroom.
Big Process - Small Company
It is difficult to provide an exact date for the T*6 Release at this point. In fact, Pocket Yachts, our microscopic little company in Arkansas, is a 1 man / 1 wife operation (I do the grunt work and she's the good looks and brains of the outfit). But, we both believe in being thorough in the development of our T*Boat Designs - before we release them to the public. Our ultimate goal is Proud T*Boat Owners, not people with "Buyer's Remorse."
So, we make every effort to work efficiently every business day. But, we understand that Job One must be the careful documentation and confirmation of every detail of this boat's design. And that is also true for the construction process that the builder will ultimately encounter. When we've done that, then the T* is ready for the marketplace.
But, this confirmation process can certainly be as much an art as a science. That is to say, it can be a bit unpredictable at times and unexpectedly send you right back to the "drawing board" to - GET IT RIGHT.
So, if you're not daunted by a short waiting period, and you would like us to contact you by email when the T*Six-2 is ready for the marketplace, we are happy to do so. Just let us know through the Contact Form below.
*Pocket Yachts is our small company located in beautiful southern Arkansas, USA.
Why do we call it
